Patrolman Jacob Belardo began his law enforcement career in the Ocean County Police Academy. He gradualted in May of 2021 and started his career walking the boardwalk of Point Pleasant Beach. The Readington Township Police Department hired Ptl. Belardo in July of 2021.  Prior to attending the police academy, he completed his Associates Degree in liberal arts with a minor in criminal justice at Raritan Valley Community College.
