Readington Township has attained Sustainable Jersey certification - one of only 74 of the 330 that have registered to become certified. Certified towns are widely recognized as an outstanding group of municipalities that are making important contributions toward the long-term goal of a sustainable New Jersey. Sustainable Jersey is a certification program for municipalities that want to go green, save money, and take steps to sustain their quality of life over the long term.
