Many Hands Make Light Work

The Readington Museums are always looking for volunteers to share our passion for living history. We offer a wide variety of volunteer opportunities, one that is sure to match your interests

Do you have group that needs a project or community service hours? We will work with you to combine our projects with your talents. Great for Scouting groups as well.

Need a way to beef up a resume or college application? Volunteering is a perfect way for High School Juniors and Seniors to gain much needed experience. Volunteering is family friendly, though anyone under the age of 18 is required to have a parent or guardian present.

Volunteering opportunities include:

Tour guide for Sunday Open House events
Gardening
Newsletters and Publications
Hands-on history guides for school tours
Craft demonstrators for school tours, Open Houses, St.Nikolaas celebration
Archiving and cataloging

All training and costuming (if required) are provided.
