Township of Readington, New Jersey

 Fingerprinting

Due to changes imposed by The State of New Jersey, the police department will, in most cases, no longer fingerprint civilians. Township residents will be fingerprinted when required to volunteer within the township, for employment purposes (when forms are provided by the prospective employer) and for Megan's Law Registration.

Fingerprinting is conducted between the hours of 6:00pm - 8:00pm, on the 1st & 3rd Tuesday of every month. If you do not bring forms provided to you by the requesting party, we can not fingerprint you. If you have any questions regarding fingerprinting eligibility or to make an appointment with SPO. Tom Wallace, please call 908-534-4031 EXT. #312.

If fingerprinting is needed for Firearms Purchaser Identification Card and/or Handgun Purchase Permit, forms can be downloaded at: NJSP Firearms Forms

If you need to be fingerprinted for any other reason, IdentoGO is contracted by the State of New Jersey to provide fingerprinting services. Please go to IdentoGO to make an appointment. You may also contact IdentoGO at 877-503-5981
